Shakeela to tie the knot

Shakeela, known for her 'B' grade movies in Malayalam, has decided to enter into marriage in next June. Her long time lover, a Chennai-based Industrialist, is the bridegroom. She announced her decision before the press at Nachiyarpuram where she was shooting for a film.

The actress, who has completed more than 100 films, said that the demise of her mother, who had been her main stay in her career, made her "very lonely and unsafe." Hence her decision to marry her lover.

Shakeela denied reports saying that Mammootty and Mohanlal were the reasons behind her exit from Mollywood. The actual reason, she says, was "my season in Mollywood was over. And hence I have changed my nature of roles too."
