Urvashi is back

Award winning Urvashi is back to stand in front of the camera, after a break. The actress is doing the lead role in a hilarious entertainer in Malayalam, which is her mothertounge. Titlted 'Kunjiammakyu Anju Makkalannu', she plays the role of a cunning conwoman in the movie.

Throwing more light on the actress's character in her comeback movie, sources say, "She plays the mother of five children, who dominates and challenges an entire village and its inhabitants. She attempts to rob the houses of the riches. Everything is told in a funny way."

The movie is produced by Rajan Nellimoodu and directed by Pappan Pazhatuvilla. The script is jointly written by V R Surendran and Lal Pallichal. Talks are on to finalise the other actors and technicians of the film which is expected to hit the floors soon.

Urvashi is a popular actress who had acted in almost all south Indian languages in the 1980s and 1990s. Some of her popular movies in Tamil include 'Michael Madhana Kamarajan', 'Mundhanai Mudichu', 'Paati Sollai Thattathey', 'Magalir Mattum' and 'Maya Bazaar'.
