'Aayirathil Oruvan' based on 'Lost' series?

Selvaraghavan’s Pongal release 'Aayirathil Oruvan' is based on time travel and it has similarities to the famous TV series 'Lost', say our sources.

In 'AO', three characters time travel from the present to the past, to the ancient times when the Chola dynasty was in power. Their aim was to discover something about the period; but they have to undergo a series of mysterious, bizarre incidents.

'Lost' series revolves around the story of a plane crash survivors trapped in an unknown island in a distant past. The hugely popular series took off in 2004 September and has
already completed five seasons. Time travel has been a pet theme of Hollywood filmmakers for long.
