"I am no Ultimate Star!"

To find a popular Tamil actor without a high sounding title or sobriquet could be very difficult. Some of the stars make suitable titles for themselves while some others are conferred these prefixes by their fan-hoards.

But Ajith wants to put a full stop to this practice, at least in his own case. Reportedly, he has decided to do away with his title "Ultimate Star". He has already written to Sivaji Productions, the producers of his forthcoming 'Asal', asking them not to use this title in the film.

He explained that the face of film industry is changing very fast and that there was no need for such titles.

'Asal', directed by Saran promises to be a mega entertainer and is getting ready for an early release.
