AO' theatrical rights fetch huge sum

Selvaraghavan's much awaited film, 'Aayirathi Oruvan', has fetched a record amount for its distribution in Trichy and Thanjavur. Gjnavel Raja, hero Karthi’s cousin and a producer, won the distribution rights of the area.

Our sources say that the Karthi film has been sold in Trichy for an amount equal to the one fetched by Suriya's 'Ayan'! For the distribution of 'AO', Gnavel had to shell out a record sum as a bidding war was on for clinching the deal.

'AO' stars Karthi in a macho role; Reema Sen and Andrea play the female leads.
