Fan trouble for 'Asal'

Dissensions within Ajith fans association have left the makers of 'Asal' a worried lot. The big budget film, starring Bhavana Balachandran and Sameera Reddy in the female lead, is slated for a Pongal release.

The problems started when the Madurai unit of Ajith Fans' Association planned an 'Asal Thiruvizha' on December 20, without permission from the leadership. Suresh Chandra, Association president has made it clear that the function is part of an effort to break up the association.

It is expected that 'Thala' will soon come up with a statement to cool the tempers of both factions and will broker a compromise.
