Bhavana roped in for 'Asal'?

It seems, speculations on the cast and crew of Ajith's 'Asal' would never cease. At first, it was about the music director: The name changed from Harris Jayaraj to Yuvanshankar Raja before finally settling on Bharadwaj. Now, all the confusion is about the second heroine of the film. Sameera Reddy has been confirmed as the female lead.

Rumourmills say Bhavana Balachandran has been selected for the second heroine role in the mega budget film being directed by Saran. Ajith and Bhavana were signed up to play the lead roles in Bala's 'Naan Kadavul', but somehow both of them backed out later and the coveted roles went to Arya and Pooja.

A few weeks before, it was reported that Mamta Mohandas would be playing the second heroine. But, the Malayali actress has denied the rumour heself.
