Chhaaya Singh ready to wait

Chhaaya Singh, who had debuted in Tamil with ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ opposite Dhanush some years ago, has not been having the best of times in Kollywood.

‘Vallamai Tharayo’, her last film, was appreciated for its content as well as for Chhaaya Singh’s performance. But ‘Vallamai Tharayo’ didn’t do well at the box-office and the failure has hurt Chhaaya’s career.

She now has a solitary project ‘Ananthapurathu Veedu’ in Tamil. Chhaya says that she likes to do only meaningful characters and that is why she is not seen quite often on screen. She says that she does not mind waiting for the right opportunity and exudes the confidence that her patience would fetch her desired results.
Meanwhile, she has signed up a few Bhojpuri language films.
