Danny Denzongpa in Shankar's 'Endhiran'!

It seems Shankar's search for the villain in his magnum opus, 'Endhiran, the Robot', has ended at last. Our sources in Kollywood say Bollywood veteran Danny Denzongpa will play the archrival to Rajni's hero in the mega-budget film, produced by Sun Pictures. The film with a budget of Rs 180 crore has Aishwarya Rai as the female lead and A.R. Rahman as the music composer.

Shankar has considered Telugu actor JD Chakravarthy and 'Sivaji' villain Suman, but the director finally settled for the Sikkim-born actor, our sources confirmed.

Danny has acted in numerous superhit Hindi films and has acted in many big projects. He has acted in many Hollywood movies, including 'Seven Years in Tibet', in which he acted along with Brad Pitt.
