Dhanush the singer!

Yet another Kollywood star takes up the microphone...to sing. Dhanush has recorded a song alongwith Mellisai Mannar MS Viswanathan to a tune set by GV Prakashkumar for 'Madrasapattinam'. The song will be picturised on Arya, the hero of the film.

The song, a melody written by Na Muthukumar, would be the opening song of the film. Dhanush, after the recording, said that he was very thrilled to record a song with the genius, MS Viswanathan. Recently, Vikram has sung four songs for 'Kandhasamy'.

'Madrasapattinam', directed by Vijay, is set in 1940's Madras and deals with the turbulent love affair between a Madras boy and an English memsaab.
