'DI' revolution in Kollywood!

The producers and directors in Kollywood have jumped on to ‘Digital Image’ (DI) bandwagon. The technology is DI technology enhances the overall audio-video quality of the film on-screen.

Still, there are a few who shun the ‘DI’ technique.

Director Bharathiraja, whose ‘Bommalattam’ has been released this week, tried this technique at the beginning of the film, but opted out of it, saying that it tampers with the originality of the film.

Bala, who has been directing his ‘Naan Kadavul’ for more than two years now, has also said ‘no’ to the DI technique.
