Jayam Ravi in 'Kick' remake

Jayam Ravi will star in the Tamil remake of Telugu hit 'Kick', which starred Ravi Teja and Ileana in the lead. Jayam Raja has secured the remake rights of the Tollywood film and it was heard that he had plans to cast Vijay in the lead.

Raja was the one who gave his younger brother Ravi a dream debut with 'Jayam'. The duo spun more hits later with blockbusters such as 'M.Kumaran S/o Mahalakshmi', 'Something Something Unakkum Enakkum' and Santhosh Subramaniam'.

'Kick' is about a guy who cannot live without getting a kick out of overcoming challenges. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music and the heroine will be finalised very soon. Right now, Ravi is busy shooting for SP Jananathan's 'Peranmai'.
