'Kandhasamy' rights sold for Rs 5 crore

In recent times, no films in Tamil has created as much anticipation and excitement about it as 'Kanthasamy'. The overseas rights for the mega budget action film, directed by Susi Ganesan and starring Vikram and Shriya Saran in the lead, has been sold for a whopping Rs 5 crore, it is learnt.

Ayngaran International has bought the rights for 'Kanthasamy'. The film will be dubbed in Spanish and Italian and will be shown in the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada Europe, Dubai and Sri Lanka.

The film has Vikram playing a super hero. The actor appears in many different get ups in the film, including that of a beautiful woman. Of the six songs in the film, four have been sung by Vikram himself. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
