Rs. 2 Cr. for 'Kanthasamy's Malayalam rights!

The rights of ‘Kanthasamy’ in Malayalam has reportedly been sold for Rs.2 crore and the satellite broadcast rights have been secured for a stunning Rs.4.5 crore, sources in the industry say.

The huge returns from the rights sale much before the release of the Vikram-starrer has director Susi Ganesan and producers in a daze.

The flick, filmed in five countries, is reportedly being dubbed into Spanish, Italian and English. Susi, overjoyed at the buzz the film has already generated, has claimed that another ‘Kanthasamy’ would be needed to challenge the might of this ‘Kanthasamy’, it is reported.

He went on to say that he would be the No.1 director in Kollywood next year, after the release of 'Kanthasamy'. B.O. gods have a certain way of making judgments, however good a film is. But, it seems, Susi does not have time to ponder about all these right now!
