'Kutty', 'AO' for title clash!

Selvaraghavan's 'Aayirathil Oruvan' and Dhanush's 'Kutty' are the big releases this Pongal. 'Nanayam' and 'Porkkalam' are the other contenders for B.O. spoils.

The much delayed 'Aayirathil Oruvan', starring Suriya's brother Karthi in the lead, has created a buzz around it similar to that of a superstar movie. It will release in 400 screens, a record for a non superstar film in Tamil. In Chennai alone, the film is being released in 14 screens.

Dhanush’s 'Kutty' is yet another feel good family entertainer. The film is releasing in 13 screens in the metro. Shriya Saran plays his onscreen pair.

SPB Charan's 'Nanayam' is releasing in 110 screens in Tamil Nadu and it has potential to be a sleeper hit, say those who watched the preview. Prasanna and Sibiraj play important roles in the film. Bandi Saroj Kumar’s 'Porkkalam' is the fourth film in the fray. The action film stars Kishore of 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' fame and six villains in important roles.
