'Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam' dropped?

It is reported that Selvaraghavan's dream project 'Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam' has been dropped. The project, starring director's brother Dhanush and Andrea in the lead, has been shelved as Selva is busy with many other assignments, say sources.

Selvaraghavan has two projects on hand--one Telugu film and a Bollywood flick. It was believed that the director would restart 'Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam' soon after he completes 'Aayirathil Oruvan'.

The film was launched in 2006, with Karthi and Sandhya in the lead. The film never started and Selva did 'Aayirathil' with Karthi. Later, the lead pair were changed to Dhanush and Andrea.
