10 directors as actors in 'Mayandi...'

Ten directors come together in 'Mayandi Kudumbattar’ as actors. This is a record in Tamil cinema. Rasu Maduravan directs this “director-heavy” film. Manivannan, Tharun Gopi, Semaan, Singampuli, Ravimariya, Nandha Periyasamy, Jaganath, Rajkapoor, Ponvannan and G.M. Kumar are the actor directors.

The director claims that the film will be a clean family entertainer. The plot of the film is about the strained relations between two important families – Mayandi (Manivannan) and Virumandi (G.M. Kumar) – of a village.

Poongodi from Kerala and Tamizharasi from Bangalore make their debut with this film. Selvakumar produces the movie and Sabesh-Murali scores the music.
