‘Nandalala’ getting ready
Myshkin is back with ‘Nandalala’ and the talented director himself plays the lead. His first two movies--‘Chiththiram Pesuthedi’ and ‘Anjathey’--had won both critical and commercial success. Maestro Illayaraja scores the music for the film.
The film is about a very strange journey undertaken by a seven-year old boy and a thirty-year old man. Both of them are searching for their respective mothers. During the course of their journey, they get influenced by all those whom they meet, including a group of gypsies.
Myshkin has interwoven with the main plot elements from Tamil folklore too. Ashwath Ram and ‘Kathala Kannala…’ fame Snigdha Akolkar play key roles. 'Nandalala' is reportedly inspired by the Takeshi Kitano-directed Japanese film 'Kikujiro'. The film is getting ready for release.
