Nayantara slashes her fee!

With newcomers such as Tamannaah and Anushka breathing down her neck, glamour queen Nayantara has agreed to slash her fee, say Tollywood insiders. The Malayali siren, who used to get More than Rs 1 crore for a single film will be paid Rs 65 lakh only for Ravi Teja starrer 'Anjaneyulu', our sources say.

Nayantara's willingness to reduce her fee stems from her awareness of the global meltdown, a source close to her says. He also points out that for the Malayalam film 'Body Guard', she worked for a very reasonable amount.

Back to back debacles of 'Kuselan', 'Satyam' and 'Aegan' might have caused the change of heart in Nayantara, say her detractors. With competition hotting up in even in her home turf, Kollywood, she has no other way to suvive in the industry, they say.
