Srikanth in 'Paagan'

Once a popular romantic hero, Srikanth's career hit a roadblock a few years ago for reasons unknown. The actor, who was waiting for a right opportunity, made a strong comeback with Shankar's 'Nanban' a couple of weeks back.

And now, he is busy shooting for two Tamil films, 'Paagan' and 'Ethiri Enn 3', besides a movie titled 'Hero' in Malayalam. While 'Paagan' is being directed by Aslam, 'Ethiri Enn 3' is by Ramkumar, both newcomers.

Says Aslam, "The story of Paagan is about a youngster, who wants to land in a job in a foreign country. However he later realises that he could emerge successful in life by doing a business in the homeland itself."

The director, who earlier worked as an associate to Ameer, says, "To get the act right and to motivate the young audience, we have made a Tirupur based entrepreneur to utter some inspirational dialogues." 'Paagan' has Janani Iyer of 'Avan Ivan' fame as the heroine.
