"Rajni should apologise"

Rajnikanth's fiery speech against video piracy during a recent press meet has angered a section of theatre owners. The meet was convened to protest against those who brought out 'Jaggubhai' CDs even before the theatre release of the film.

At the function, Rajni had said that such activities could not be possible without the connivance of theatre owners as most of the pirated CDs were camera prints shot in the theatres, says a press release of the Theatre Owners’ Association.

The statement of the superstar has hurt the sentiments of theatre owners and distributors. So, Rajni should apologise for what he had said, demands the press release.
