Rajni slashes fee for 'Endhiran'

Recession has landed in tinsel town. Producers have been asking stars to cut down their fees.

Superstar Rajnikanth is said to have taken the initiative to make things smooth for his ‘Endhiran’, directed by Shankar and produced by Ayngaran International.

It is said that Rajnikanth has decided to cut down his remuneration by 30 percent and he has also requested Aishwarya Rai, his heroine in the film, to do the same.

Sources reveal that Rajni has discussed with Aishwarya Rai in detail about this. The arrangement anyhow is that this loss shall be compensated through the profits once the movie releases.

Well, while everyone is busy doing the talks, Rajni, arguably the highest paid actor in India, goes one step ahead and implements it.
