Hollywood greats behind 'Endhiran'

Some of the best talents in Hollywood are working in Rajnikanth starrer 'Endhiran, the Robot', a futuristic science fiction film. The film by Shankar, with a budget exceeding Rs 125 crore, will be the costliest film ever made in Asia.

The film tells the story of a scientist who tries to bring back a robot he has made. Rajnikanth plays both the roles, that of the scientist and the robot. Reputed Hollywood firm Stan Winston Special Effects House makes the robot.

Costume designer Mary E. Vogt, who created the costumes in 'Batman Returns' and 'Men in Black', fight-scene designer Woo-Ping Yuen, whose credits include 'Kill Bill' and 'The Matrix' are working in the film, now in its fourth month of production. The film will be released next year.
