On Sunday last, it was a trip down the memory lane for the participants at a function in Chennai, when the Nadigar Thilagam Film Appreciation Society, a forum for the fans and admirers of late actor Sivaji Ganesan, was inaugurated.

The event also coincided with the golden jubilee of 'Parthal Pasi Theerum'.

Speakers at the function, including the society's president and veteran actor Y Gee Mahendra, Sivaji's elder son Ramkumar, Sowcar Janaki and script writer Aroor Das, paid rich tributes on Sivaji and his acting prowess.
