Sun Pictures gets 'TVP'

Sun Pictures will market Vishal's ambitious new film 'Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai'. The film, produced by GK Film Corporation, Vishal's home production, is a big budget entertainer and is likely to be released in February.

For Vishal, the B.O. fortunes of the film could mean very important for his career as his last two outings--'Satyam' and 'Thoranai'--were huge disasters. So, the news of 'TVP' being taken up by Sun Pictures is welcome relief for Vishal. The company, known for their aggressive marketing skills, has rarely tasted failure in their ventures.

The film has Vishal playing a modern day Casanova romancing a bevy of beautiful belles, including Neetu Chandra, Sarah Jane and Tanushree Datta.
