Suriya's high-risk stunt

Actor Suriya took part in a very risky stunt sequence for 'Ayan'.

The fight involving him and as set of stuntmen as baddies was shot at the edge of a 600-feet gorge. The director K.V. Anand was for using a body double in his place. But Suriya insisted on doing the stunt himself, and got away with it. The actor, who took great pains to build the six-pack figure for the armyman role he did in 'Vaaranam Aayiram', pulled off the difficult stunt with relative ease, to the amazement of everyone present.

Kanal Kannnan, the stunt choreographer, appreciated Suriya's courage and skill. He expresed the hope that the stunt would prove a highlight of 'Ayan'.

The film stars Suriya and Tamannaah and it introduces Akashdeep Sehgal as the villain.
