Suriya to sing for 'Singam'

Suriya will be singing a song for his 'Singam', it is reported. Music composer Devi Sri Prasad, who made Vikram sing four songs for 'Kandhasamy' has succeeded in getting Suriya to sing, it is learnt.

In Kollywood, actors taking to playback singing has become the norm rather than the exception, it seems. Recently, Dhanush had sung a song for Arya starrer 'Madrasapattinam'. Golden Ganesh singing for his 25th film is one of the latest news from Sandalwood.

Devi Sri Prasad has scored a chartbuster with 'Kandhasamy'. A reason for its success, obviously is, singer Vikram. Many feel that songs by heroes add that extra something to the allure of the music album.
