Vidyasagar visits Lekha Sonatone

Vidyasagar, the ‘King of Melody’ of Kollywood, visited the music company Lekha Sonatone recently.

The company head in India, Lekha Rathnakumar, invited the composer to contribute to the company. It is heard that Vidyasagar was delighted at the invitation to work with the international music company.

Lekha's Sonatone has made the 2008 Olympics jingle, which was composed by Lekha Rathnakumar himself. The company is making tracks which could be used as background score for different films.

It would benefit small and medium-scale music directors as they can purchase these musical bits and use them in their films. Director K. Bhagyaraj, who is directing ‘Pudhiya Vaarpugal’ with his son Shantanu in the lead, is said to be using some of these musical bits.
