All is well, says Vijay

Vijay is all smiles about the feedback to his Pongal release 'Nanban'. "The success of the film has once again proved that story forms the backbone of a movie. I thank Shankar for shaping up Nanban in an engaging manner," he says.

Currently shooting for 'Thuppakki', being helmed by A R Murugadoss, Vijay says, "We all guessed that Nanban would become a super hit. But such a huge response, that too within a few days after its release, is something unexpected."

The 'Ilaya Thalapathi' of Tamil cinema, adds: "When I watched Three Idiots for the first time, I was really stunned with the story and the narration. Shankar has recreated the magic in Nanban, however with his unique stamp."

While expressing his wish to work with Shankar again, Vijay says, "My fans say in one voice that Nanban was a different treat for them. Shooting for the movie was a different experience for me too. I will continue to do movies like this."
