‘Villu’ cleared by censors

Vijay’s ‘Villu’, directed by Prabhudeva, has been cleared by the censors and is all set for release.
The film, produced by Ayngaran International, has been censored with a U/A certificate. Slated for a Pongal release on January 12th, ‘Villu’ is an action film with Nayantara as the heroine and Prakash Raj playing a key role. The cast also includes Sriman, Adithya, Napolean, Vadivelu and Geetha K.S.
‘Villu’ sees Vijay teaming up with Prabhudeva for the second time, after the immensely successful ‘Pokkiri’, released in 2007. Ravi Varma is the cameraman while Devi Sreeprasad scores the music.
Though it’s also heard that the makers may advance the release date to the 9th of January, it’s yet to be confirmed.
