Vijay & Vishal lock horns in Tollywood

Two Tamil actors will compete for their pie in the Telugu film market this month. Vishal is coming up with his movie ‘Khiladi’, while Vijay is all set to entertain with his 'Puli Vetta'. Although Vijay is the biggest star in Kollywood, it is Vishal who is more familiar in Andhra Pradesh. The makers of 'Puli Vetta', the dubbed version of 'Vettaikaaran', are consciously promoting the film as an Anushka-starrer, while promoters of 'Khiladi' are hoping to win some good openings banking on Vishal's image.
Vishal and Vijay have huge following in Andhra Pradesh through their dubbed Tamil films. All their Tamil films are invariably dubbed in Telugu unless the Tamil film happens to be a remake of a Telugu film.
Vishal will be seen romancing three female stars in 'Khiladi', which was actually set to be released in February, but got postponed. The actor has not had much success since 'Pandem Kodi', with his films like Pista doing miserable business at the box office.
Vijay, the actor who enjoys immense craze in his home turf, is not as famous as an Ajith, but it seems that the makers are hoping to win with the help of the film's subject and its USP, Anushka Shetty.
We have to wait and see who emerges the winner.
