'Thee': Loud and crude!
Directed by - Kicha Music by - Srikant Deva Casts - Vivek, Aishwarya, Sayali shinde, Deva, Manoj K Jayan Starring - Sundar C, Namitha, Ragini A typical Sundar C film, 'Thee' is a masala maze that is sure to test the patience of both the Sundar fan and detractor! The film's only claim to fame is its title, which reminds one of Rajnikanth's 1981 super hit.
Director Kitcha has succeeded in dishing out a 'C' grade film. The film, a remake of the Telugu hit 'Operation Duriyodhan', is painfully slow, predictable and crude. For the Sundar fans, they get all they could have wished for: Scintillating Namitha in two massage scenes, an item number from Mumaith Khan plus, the hero's nude runningn scene! There is enough violence on offer too. The story (if it can be called so!) goes like this. An honest cop Sarathy (Sundar.C) is trapped up by the villains--a corrupt MLA (G.M Kumar) and Raj Pandian (Sayaji Shinde)--and his wife Ganga (Ragini) and two kids are murdered in broad daylight. Sarathy becomes Saami to avenge the death of his beloveds, plays every dirty trick to become an MLA. Finally, he uses a sledge hammer to kill the baddies. He is helped in his 'noble' endeavours by Ruchidevi (Namitha). Srikanth Deva’s music matches the mood of the film--loud and forgettable!
