Allu Arjun, also known as Bunny, has a huge youth following in Andhra Pradesh.Allu debuted in a special appearance in the movie `Daddy’ that was produced by his father. His first film as a hero, Gangotri, was directed by ace director K.Raghavendra Rao, and it was a big hit.His second film, Arya, was a 2004 blockbuster and got huge collections.

His third film Bunny was an average flick. His fourth film, Happy, didn't fulfill the expectations and turned out to be average. His next film, Desamuduru, directed by Puri Jagannadh proved to be a hit at the box office. The film has been described as the best in Arjun's career so far.In 2007, he appeared in Megastar's Shankardada Zindabad.

His current movie is `Parugu’ produced by Dil Raju.Sheela plays the female lead. Here is the extract from the Telephonic interview with the hot star.Q. What circumstances brought you into the glam race?
A.

It was the beginning of the year 2002.I wanted to take up acting as my profession.I was about to go to Canada for holidays when I got the offer for ‘Jayam'.But, for a few justified reasons, I could not act in the film.Later on I was chosen for `Gangotri,’ which brought me both recognition and success.

Q.After that you did a cameo for ‘Daddy’…

A.It happened overnight. We did not plan for it.I was a discotheque freak. On the sets of Daddy, Chiranjeevi gaaru asked me if I would like to do a dance scene. And I could not resist saying yes!

Q.How did you feel working for Gangotri?

A.It was awesome.Working with a legendary director like K Raghavendra Rao in his 100th film is a great privilege.
The flick has got a good subject and screen play.

Q.Tell us about your character in Arya?

A.Arya is a positive and cool guy.Kind of aggressive with his opinions and feelings! Arya is the one who just speaks whatever comes to his mind.It is a one way love story. There is not much response from the girl. The whole movie runs on the characterization and attitude of ‘Arya’.

Q.Who is your inspiration in acting?

A. Need I tell you who it is? It’s none other than my uncle Megastar Chiranjeevi.I picked up all the aspects of acting from him.I actually grew up imbibing his acting and mannerisms. The qualities I strongly wish to acquire from him are hard work and dedication.

Q.What are your strengths?

A.My background is my strength. My determination is also one of them.I am flexible.I am adaptable both mentally and physically.
The character of 'Arya' is a reflection of my own self.

Q What kind of involvement do you have in your film?

A. I involve seriously in whatever I do.But, I do trust the makers of the films, because I chose the right movie makers like Dil Raju.

Q.You already have a mass image. But you have tried a different one from what you already have, a softer one in Parugu? Will it be convincing to your fans?

A.I thank the audience for attaching a mass image to me, which of course, is difficult to get otherwise
