Anushka in Hindi movies

Anushka is geared up to make her foray in Bollywood very soon. She has been reportedly offered ‘interesting roles’ in a couple of Hindi projects and the actress would make a decision at the earliest.

On how she signs up films, Anushka says, ‘Firstly, the script should excite me. Then I look for what my role has to offer. I do make an allowance for these two if the project is helmed by a good director and has an established and talented actor opposite me.’

The actress further says, ‘I'm not always insistent on getting a meaty role or more screen space if the overall project is interesting. All that I want is to be part of meaningful film. For me quality is important than quantity.’

Anushka says it has been a delight acting in ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ with Vikram. Her advocate role in the film has won greater acclaims. ‘The character Anuradha I played in Deiva Thirumagal gave me a good scope to perform,’ she says.
