Jagapathi Babu plays Chiranjeevi!

In 'Maa Naanna Chiranjeevi', directed by P.A. Arun Prasad of 'Thammudu' fame, Jagapathi Babu plays the title role; the film has nothing to do with the Tollywood megastar.

The film revolves around the relationship between a father (played by Jagapathi Babu) and his son (Atulit of 'Tulasi' fame). Neelima plays the female lead. Chakri scores the music for this film.

After two back to back flops in 'Siddham and 'Bangaaru Babu' and an average hit in 'Adhineta', Jagapathi Babu is very much in need of a blockbuster. Director P.A. Arun Prasad is busy with two movies--'Yagam' starring Navadeep, Bhumika Chawla and Kim Sharma and another film in which Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy plays himself.
