Attempt to disrupt Jr NTR's film shoot

Pro-Telangana activists tried to disrupt the shooting of `Brindavanam’, starring NTR Junior in the lead.

A fight scene was being shot at the location in Old City when TRS activists raised slogans against NTR Junior and tried to gatecrash into the sets. Police, who had been posted there as a precautionary measure, closed the gate and prevented any untoward incidents. The shooting went on undisturbed.

The agitators were angry at Jr NTR because of the pro-united Andhra stance taken by TDP, headed by the actor's uncle Chandrababu Naidu. The film producer, Dil Raju reportedly came out and raised `Jai Telangana’ slogans with the activists so as to pacify them.

Earlier, shooting for Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Manchu Mahesh films were disrupted by Telengana activists.
