'Kick' kickstarts Shaam's career

The box office success of Telugu film 'Kick' has come as a great relief for superstar Ravi Teja and Tamil actor Shaam. Shaam, who played many a lover boy roles in Tamil, donned a negative role in 'Kick' and his performance is being well noticed.

Producers and directors in Tamil and Telugu are heaping praises on Shamshuddin Ibrahim aka Shaam, who was a successful model before entering films with SJ Suryah's 'Kushi'.

The acclaim he got for 'Kick', directed by Surendra Reddy, has given him the courage to experiment with his roles. He will be seen in very different roles in 'Anthony Yaar' and 'Agam Puram'.
