‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ rules Telugu BO

Almost one month after its release, the Sirkanth Addala-directed ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ (released on October 9th), continues to rule the box office in Telugu, despite some films getting released even after that.

The film, with Varun Sandhesh and Shwetha Prasad in lead roles and Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Ahuthi Prasad etc doing key roles, has become a hit with all classes of the audience, especially the family audience.

Even Venkatesh’s ‘Chinthakayala Ravi’, released on October 2nd, hasn’t fared that well and the others released later, including ‘Nenu Meeku Telusa’ and ‘Hero’ are not doing well. ‘Hero’, in fact, has proved to be a big flop. The Dev Prasad-directed ‘Blade Babji’, which is a laugh riot, is of course doing rather fine.

‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’, which tells a love story set against he backdrop of family relationships, is the only film that is doing great business.

Producer ‘Dil’ Raju indeed has reasons to be happy, immensely happy!
