Mohan Babu seeks police protection

Tollywood star Mohan Babu has approached the police seeking armed protection for him and his family. He claimed that he had been getting threatening calls from a certain section of people. The Hyderabad police commissioner B Prasada said that adequate action will be taken once the threat perception is assessed.

Already, a six-member police picket has been set up near Mohan Babu's house in Jubilee Hills. Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi have invoked the ire of the pro-Telengana agitators as they have taken a stand for united Andhra.

Recently, theatres showing Chiru's nephew Allu Arjun's 'Aarya 2' and Mohan Babu's son Manchu Vishnu's 'Saleem' were attacked by Telengana supporters. A few days before, agitators had tried to disrupt the shooting of a Jr NTR film in Hyderabad also.
