Pawan Kalyan marries Renu Desai

Tollywood superstar Pawan Kalyan, the younger brother of Chiranjeevi, married his long-time live-in partner Renu Desai at his house on Wednesday. A few family members, including Chiru and film personalities attended the function.

Renu, was a co-star of Pawan Kalyan in two films--'Badri' and 'Johnny'.The couple have a 5-year-okld son, Akira Nandan.

The decision to make their relationship legal was taken as rival political parties criticised their living togerther. Pawan, being the leader of the youth wing of Chiru's party, Praja Rayam, could not afford the risk, say observers.

Pawan got divorce from his first wife, Nandini, only in 2008. The out of court divorce settlement with Nandini cost Pawan Rs 5 crore, it is believed.
