'Polladhavan' remade as 'Bike'

The Tamil hit 'Polladhavan' starring Dhanush, is being remade into Telugu as 'Bike'. Varun Sandesh plays the hero and son of director-producer Gunnam Ganga Raju, Gunnam Sandeep makes his debut as a director with this film.

The film, which went on floors on Jan 26, has completed the first schedule. 'Polladhavan' was a roaring success in Tamil and had resurrected the career of Dhanush. Varun's leading lady in 'Bike' is Neha Sharma, of 'Chiruta' fame.

Varun Sandesh, like Dhanush, is considered to be a future superstar in Tollywood. The young man, who made his debut with the superhit, 'Happy Days', followed it up with another blockbuster, 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam', in which he played the hero for the first time.
