Shamili, Siddharth in 'Oye'

Baby Shamili, one of the most famous child artistes ever in Indian films, will be debuting as a heroine in 'Oye', starring Siddharth in the lead. The film, being directed by debutant Anand is almost complete and is sheduled for May release.

Siddharth, on a high after the thumping success of his 'Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam', plays another romantic role in 'Oye'. The film is being Produced by D Danaiah.

Shamili, the younger sister of Shalini Ajit, comes back to the silver screen after a gap of about 10 years. Her most famous role as a child artiste was in Mani Ratnam directed 'Anjali'. Later, she played the role of a teenager in Mammootty-Mohanlal starrer 'Harikrishnans', in Malayalam. It is rumoured that her brother-in-law, Tamil superstar Ajit, advises her in choice of films.
