Sridevi in NTR film?

Former superstar Sridevi may play an important role in Producer C Ashwini Dutt's next, starring Jr NTR and Ileana in the lead. Mehar Ramesh, who has directed superhits in NTR's 'Kantri' and Prabhas starrer 'Billa', willl wield the megaphone. The film has been tentatively titled 'Shakthi'.

Sridevi, if agrees to sign the film, will play the hero's mother-in-law. If the producer succeeds in getting her for the role, that would be the casting coup of the decade in Tollywood. Sri's last release in Telugu was in 1994 ('SP Parasuram').

Vyjayanthi Movies banner makes this film at a budget of Rs 40 crore. The shooting will be held in over 14 countries. The film is expected to commence in January.
