'Mahatma': Srikanth’s 100th film

Srikanth's 100th film, ‘Mahatma’, was launched the other day in Hyderabad. The film, directed by Krishna Vamsi, has Bhavana playing the female lead.

Mega star Chiranjeevi, Dasari Narayana Rao, K Raghavendra Rao, Kumaraswamy, Srikanth and Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao were present at the muhurat. The film is a powerful critique on contemporary issues, say the director. The muhurat shot, depicting the hero emerging from a blast holding an injured Gandhi in his arms, captures the mood of the film.

Srikanth and Krishna Vamsi had teamed up earlier in the blockbuster, 'Khadgam'. The efforts are on to make Srikanth's 100th film a mega hit.
