'Swami Manikanta' launched

Shooting for ‘Swami Manikanta’, starring Kaushik Babu in the title role, has begun at Sarathi Studios. In the film produced and directed by Vijish Mani, Master Atulith, Suman and Sai Kiran play important roles.

The launch of the film was attended by prominent politicians such as former minister Purushottama Rao, BJP leader K Lakshman and TDP leader Aravindkumar Goud.

Kaushik has played the role of Lord Ayyappa 10 times so far, for TV serials as well as films. The film will be shot in Hyderabad, Kerala and Sabarimala. The cast includes Meera Jasmine, Radhakumari, Hemasundar, Jenny and Anitha. Manu Ramesh scores the music and Muralikrishnan cranks the camera.
